WWJD?
Who Would Judy Donate to?
Donations and worthy causes.
If you want to know whom I would donate my first spare million to, this is the short list.
(Subject to change based on my whims as an imaginary billionaire)
An international charity that has recently come to my attention is IFAW, the international fund for animal welfare. As a non-militant, non-radical animal welfare group, they work closely with government organizations around the world to coordinate relief efforts for animals caught in the midst of human problems. A recent example of this was their involvement with the Japanese in rescuing pets and livestock left in the evacuation zone of the nuclear power plants following the spring 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

I am also very fond of the Heifer Project, giving livestock to help folks start a family business.

And then there is advocats, whose mission is to limit the population of feral cats in Hawaii in an attempt to preserve the island's unique native wildlife. (Spay neuter spay neuter spay!)
