Q: What does this have to do with vet medicine?
A:We all make choices on how we do things.

Here is a brief overview of some of the choices I have made.

I try to minimize my business's impact on the environment. How?

My “Green” business practices include:

Driving a compact vet practice with excellent MPG
Home base is powered with rooftop solar cells.
Reclaimed water used in landscaping.
Double paned windows, well insulated.
Aggressive recycle program.
Materials are selected to minimize packaging.
Responsible medical waste disposal.
Brochures printed on high % recycled paper with low VOC soy ink.

Q: How can you support green business practices?
A: By actively choosing to align yourself with and support businesses who take on the added expense and trouble of doing things as well as they can.

Because 95% of the time, your pets don't need a large medical practice.
